Infaith cooperation
Being interfaith means you don't have to give up your faith but work with others of different faiths to help each other, mutual aide is important but also to share our values and our similarities. Our diffences are actually few. How can I be in the service of others? loving kindness is universal.
Interfaith ambassador
Whatever your path is you represent it through your actions and words. By respecting diffences and focusing on similarities we guide the conversation to kindness and love, the universal message of all faith. Even you are an ambassador by setting a positive example in your community by working with diverse spiritual communities. Focus on the positives and not the drama going around and focus on how to serve. We as servant leaders must pay attention to be proactive and not reactive during times of tension and stress. Be kind! When drama happens shift to the positive and minimize the negative, address it by being honest but don't get dragged into drama. We are all ambassadors of our faith, if you want growth treat others as the way you want to be treated.
Storytelling
Indigenous culturs have a rich history of oral storytelling. The campfire was their social media, it was local and inatant. They told stories to teach, to entertain and to pass vital information along. In this area we will tell stories and share in the spirit of the old ways.
Walk on a rainbow trail; walk on a trail of song, and all about you will be beauty. There is a way out of every dark mist, over a rainbow trail.’
Navajo Song
"The Great Spirit is in all things. He is in the air we breathe. The Great Spirit is our Father, but the Earth is our Mother. She nourishes us.....That which we put into the ground she returns to us."
Big Thunder Wabanaki, Algonquin
"Great spirit we are one, the many blades of grass do not argue with each other, the otters float together as a raft family, we are all related."
