Kalapuya country
Kalapuya country is in what we call Lane county, Oregon. We are seeking restoration of tribal names and places. We support tribal restoration and education for locals in Kalapuya country. We also support the renaming of the county to reflect our first people who reside in our county. The Kalapuya people are one member of the Grande Ronde Tribe.
Kalapuya restoration day, Salmon Creek, Oregon
We celebrate our native history with nature. In the foot hills of the Cascades is Salmon Creek. A place to relax and learn. The Mallola tribe ancestral lands are located here. Every spring we celebrate this.
Kalapuya family
We are an intentional family who respects the traditional ways of the people who lived here before us We are both tribal and non tribal people working together to restore the Mountain Mollala tribal lands back to their original stewards. As allies we allow the tribes to decide the direction they want to take as sovereign people, our goal is supporting and restoration of the land we call home.
Culteral restoration
We invite you to visit Oakridge Oregon to promote Native American cultural restoration. Our community is embracing diversity and encouraging visitors to spend time sharing ideas on how to restore traditional ways of life. The beauty of nature must be preserved TV Butte must be protected and we seek help to protect our lands from exploitation. We do not own the land, the land is not to be exploited for profit. Come see why this area is considered sacred by many.
